This is the story of my journey to find peace.

Not all who wander are lost – J.R.R. Tolkien
So, this is where it begins, my dream of a journey, an adventure. So many of us spend our adult life working, raising a family, running….and running….and running. It never seems to end, all in a pursuit to try to reach a point of what we believe is enjoyment and what we hope, in the end, is what we feel is a full life. Maybe we take time off each year to reenergize, reconnect with what we believe is total sanity, but for some of us we never seem to reach that point. We quickly fall back into the same routine, the total insanity of life. But for some, we’re dreaming of another way of life. In my heart I don’t fully believe that I’ve created a full life, and believe that there must be something more that makes a life, a full life.
This begins the next chapter in my life, what I believe may possibly make me feel more like I’ve filled a void in order to create that feeling. I’m off on an adventure, an adventure to see what this wonderful world is. I can look at photos, or videos, but they cannot possibly fill my heart with the beauty that my God has created. It’s said there are over 8 billion people in the world, each one of those people live in one small region on earth and when they open their front door, or tent flap, they see what hopefully makes them happy. But I need to see that view, and meet that person, and see or feel like this planet is full of good people who have a unique viewpoint that hopefully makes them whole. So onward, onward I will go, I will go slowly and stop, and look, and smell, and listen, and try to feel what others feel. I know it’s not always good, I understand that, but I need to understand what that feeling is so I can fill that space in my soul and hopefully promote change.
If you care to, join me while I drive in search of God’s good, and evil’s bad. I’ll share photo’s and video’s while also sharing what I’m feeling inside with each new small piece of this journey. I hope I can hold your interest, and if you wish, feel free to ask any question you may and I’ll do my best to reply with sincere honesty.
